VC837 6000-Count True RMS Auto Range Multimeter, NCV

The VC837 is a 6000-count auto-range True RMS multimeter in the VC800 series. It is a full-function pocket meter: current from a 600μA range up to 10A, capacitance up to 60mF, frequency to 10MHz, duty cycle 1%~99% and temperature, with NCV and a torch. It runs on two AAA cells.

Applications

Electronics repair that needs μA and mA readings, PWM and control signal checks with duty cycle, HVAC service, and general electrical maintenance up to 600V.

Choosing within the series

The VC837 and VC837A share the same ranges. The VC837 has duty cycle measurement; the VC837A drops it and adds an analog bar display. The VC836 has the same 6000-count auto-range base and an analog bar, but its current input is a single 10A range with no μA or mA ranges, and it uses one-key measurement without turning the dial between functions. The VC835B is the 2000-count option.
