CM-3002 800A Smart AC/DC Clamp Meter, Color Screen

The CM-3002 is the AC/DC version of the CM3000 color screen smart clamp meter. It identifies the measurement automatically and reads both AC and DC current to 800A on 60A/600A/800A ranges at ±(1.5%+5), on a 6000-count display with an analog bar. The 28mm jaw has a clamp light, and NCV works from the jaw or the red test lead.

Applications

Work that mixes AC and DC circuits: solar PV strings and battery banks, vehicle and forklift electrics, DC motor drives, plus regular AC maintenance and HVAC service.

Choosing within the series

The CM-3002 and CM-3000 share the color screen, auto identification, 6000-count display and every other range. Only the CM-3002 measures DC current, from 60A to 800A. The CM-3002 is orange and black, the CM-3000 red and black. If you need DC current plus manual ranging, LoZ or LPF, look at the CM-2018 in the CM20 series instead.
