VC835B 2000-Count True RMS Auto Range Multimeter, NCV

The VC835B is a 2000-count auto-range multimeter in the VC800 series. It keeps the pocket size and two-AAA supply of the series but covers more functions than the other 2000-count models: capacitance to 2000μF, frequency to 1MHz, duty cycle 1%~99% and temperature, plus True RMS, NCV and a torch. A TP01 temperature probe comes in the box.

Choosing within the series

Among the 2000-count VC800 models, the VC835B is the only one with capacitance, frequency and duty cycle. The VC835/VC835A have temperature and hFE but no capacitance or frequency, and their ACV range starts at 2V where the VC835B starts at 200mV. The VC833A and VC834 are manual range. Step up to the VC836 or VC837 for 6000 counts, 60mF capacitance and 10MHz frequency.
