VC88 Auto Range Multimeter with TTL Logic and Frequency

The VC88 is the VC80-series multimeter for electronics work. Besides the usual voltage, current and resistance ranges, it has a logic level test for TTL and CMOS circuits, plus capacitance up to 40mF, frequency to 10MHz, duty cycle and REL (relative) measurement. It reads 4000 counts and can run in auto or manual range.

Applications

The logic test is intended for chip design and verification, PCB design and debugging, component screening and electronics teaching. The VC88 also covers general electrical work up to 1000V DC.

Choosing within the series

The VC88 is the only VC80 model with the logic level test and the only one with a manual range option. The VC86 is the 2000-count model without capacitance, frequency, duty cycle or REL. The VC89 has 6000 counts and replaces the logic test with pulse output (50Hz~5kHz) and square wave output; it keeps capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and REL but uses plain data hold instead of Max/Min.
