VC108PV Overview
The VC108PV is a photovoltaic module maximum power tester designed for quick and convenient measurement of the Maximum Power Point (MPPT) of solar panels. It can simultaneously measure the photovoltaic module’s maximum power (Pmax), open-circuit voltage (Voc), and short-circuit current (Isc), with all parameters displayed on a single interface. The Maximum Power Point (MPPT) measured by this instrument is the most critical indicator for evaluating the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic panels, and it is commonly used for photovoltaic panel testing and faulty module troubleshooting.
The VC108PV is a handheld maximum power point tester for photovoltaic modules. Solar installers and maintenance crews connect it to a panel and read maximum power (Pmax), voltage and current at maximum power (Vmp, Imp), open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc) on one screen. It needs no battery: the panel under test powers the meter.

Choosing within the series
The VC108PV is the only electrical PV tester in the Vici lighting meter range. It measures what a panel delivers. The LX-107 solar power meter measures the sunlight reaching the panel in W/m², so the two are often used together: LX-107 to record irradiance, VC108PV to read the module output under that irradiance.
