VC4060PD 2500V Insulation Multimeter, PI and DAR

The VC4060PD is a 6000-count insulation multimeter for new energy vehicle (NEV) service and industrial electrical maintenance. It runs insulation tests at 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V and 2500V, reads up to 50GΩ, and indicates polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR).

Applications

Insulation checks on NEV high-voltage systems at 500V or 1000V, following the vehicle maker's procedure, and insulation and absorption tests on motors, transformers and cables. The 2500V step is for equipment off the vehicle, not for vehicle high-voltage components.

Choosing within the series

The VC4060PD and VC4060PC share PI/DAR indication, measurement time selection and 40Hz~1kHz AC response. The PD adds the 50GΩ/2500V step; the PC starts lower with a 200MΩ/50V step and stops at 1000V. The VC1508PD has the same insulation steps plus a remote control test lead. Choose the VC4060PD when you need 2500V or readings above 20GΩ and do not need the remote lead.
