VC1508PC 1000V Insulation Multimeter, Remote Test Lead

The VC1508PC is a 6000-count insulation multimeter with a remote control test lead, for new energy vehicle (NEV) maintenance and industrial electrical work. It runs insulation tests at five voltages, 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V, reads up to 20GΩ, and indicates polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR).

Choosing within the series

The VC1508PC and VC1508PD share PI/DAR indication, measurement time selection and 40Hz~1kHz AC response. The PC adds the 200MΩ/50V step and tops out at 20GΩ/1000V; the PD drops 50V and adds 50GΩ/2500V. The VC1508AT and VC1508B+ trade PI/DAR for a fuller multimeter: AC/DC current to 20A, temperature from -40°C to 1000°C, duty cycle, max/min hold and 40Hz~2kHz AC response, with insulation tests at 250V/500V/1000V (AT) or 500V/1000V (B+). Choose the PC for the 50V step.
