VC1508B+ Remote Insulation Multimeter, True RMS, NCV

The VC1508B+ is a 6000-count True RMS insulation multimeter with a remote control test lead. It is the only VC1508 model that measures inductance, from 6mH to 100H, alongside 500V and 1000V insulation tests, AC/DC current to 20A and temperature, which suits NEV and motor work where windings are checked as well as insulation.

Choosing within the series

The VC1508B+ and VC1508AT share the same multimeter ranges, 40Hz~2kHz AC response and max/min hold. The B+ adds inductance to 100H but drops the 250V insulation step that the AT has. The VC1508PC and VC1508PD skip current, temperature and inductance and focus on insulation: PI/DAR indication, timed tests, and test voltages from 50V to 1000V (PC) or 100V to 2500V (PD). Choose the B+ when inductance matters more than a 250V step.
