LX-1332B Overview
LX-1332B light/lux meter is mainly used to test the intensity of light in various occasions in studios, museum showrooms, classrooms, hospitals, and powder rooms. Avoid strong light on display or personal safety, adjust the light intensity, and achieve the best effect on the presentation of people and objects.
The LX-1332B is a handheld illuminance meter with a separate sensor on a cable of approx. 120cm. Facility managers, lighting installers and inspectors use it to check light levels in rooms and work areas. Four manual ranges cover 0-200, 200-2000, 2000-20,000 and 20,000-200,000 lux, with 0.1 lux resolution on the lowest range.
Key features
- Four manual ranges up to 200,000 lux
- Accuracy ±4.0% + 0.5% f.s. on the 200 and 2000 lux ranges; ±5.0%+10 on the 200,000 lux range
- Repeatability ±2%, sampling 3 times/s
- Auto zero-adjustment and data hold
- Low battery indication; auto power off after approx. 15 minutes
- Photodiode sensor with filter, 9V (6F22) battery
Applications
Lighting checks in libraries, hospitals, schools, classrooms, museum showrooms, studios and stages, and illumination in greenhouses and plant factories.
Choosing within the series
The LX-1332B, LX-1334B and LX-1336B share the same housing, cabled sensor, manual ranging, data hold and auto power off. The LX-1332B reads illuminance in lux only. The LX-1334B adds foot-candle display (20/200/2000/20000 FC, 1 FC = 10.76 lux) for buyers working to imperial lighting specs. The LX-1336B is a luminance meter: it reads cd/m² from a light-emitting surface such as a screen, not the light falling on a work area.
