CM-2016 800A AC/DC Clamp Meter, True RMS, Temperature

The CM-2016 is a 6000-count True RMS AC/DC clamp meter with a 28mm jaw. It measures AC and DC current to 800A on 60A/600A/800A ranges at ±(1.5%+5), AC voltage at ±(0.5%+5), and covers capacitance, frequency and temperature, with a rotary dial and auto or manual range.

Choosing within the series

The CM-2016 and CM-2018 share the same current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature ranges. The CM-2018 adds LoZ low-impedance voltage, LPF filtered voltage for variable-frequency drives, an orange backlight alarm for high voltage, and NCV from the red test lead as well as the jaw. The CM-2016 also has tighter AC voltage accuracy, ±(0.5%+5) against ±(0.8%+5) on the CM-2018. Choose the CM-2016 when you do not work on VFD outputs.
