DT-6236C Overview
DT-6236C non-contact laser and contact rpm digital tachometer is mainly used for touchless speed testing of rotors such as various engines, motors, speed control devices and wire speed tests of various conveyor belts. It is used in the speed debugging of various devices such as aircraft, ships, EMUs, automobiles, model aircraft, toys, etc.; and the surface speed debugging of assembly lines and transmission dials.
The DT-6236C combines a laser non-contact tachometer with a contact head for shaft and surface speed. The laser reads 2.5~99,999 RPM at 50~500mm; contact mode reads 0.5~19,999 RPM and 0.05~1999.9 m/min, all at ±(0.05%+1). It stores 96 data sets, has a backlit LCD, and runs on 4×AA batteries or an external power supply. Body size is 210×74×37mm.

Choosing within the series
In the DT-62 series, the DT-6234B is LED photoelectric, the DT-6234C is laser with 50~500mm range, the DT-6235B is contact only with surface speed and length, and the DT-6236B and DT-6236C combine contact with photoelectric or laser measurement. DT-6235B, DT-6236B and DT-6236C store 96 data sets; DT-6234B/C keep Max/Min/Last. Every DT-62 model accepts an external power supply as well as 4×AA batteries. The DT-22 series is the battery-only equivalent.
