DT-2234C Overview
DT-2234C non-contact laser rpm tachometer is used for touchless speed testing of rotors such as various engines, motors, speed control devices, etc. It is used in the debugging of various devices such as aircraft, ships, emmobiles, automobiles, model aircraft, and toys.
The DT-2234C is a handheld non-contact tachometer that uses a laser beam and a reflective mark to read rotational speed. The laser spot is easy to aim at a small or distant target, which gives it a working distance of 50~500mm. Maintenance technicians use it where reaching close to a running machine is awkward or unsafe. Readings start at 2.5 RPM with ±(0.05%+1) accuracy.

Applications

Choosing within the series
In the DT-22 series, the DT-2234B is LED photoelectric (50~250mm), the DT-2234C is laser (50~500mm), the DT-2235B+ is contact only with surface speed and length, and the DT-2236C combines contact and laser. All DT-22 models run on 4×AA batteries only. The DT-62 series (DT-6234B/C, DT-6235B, DT-6236B/C) adds an external power supply option, and its contact models store 96 data sets.
