DT-6235B Contact Tachometer, RPM and Surface Speed

The DT-6235B is a contact tachometer for shaft speed, surface (line) speed and measured length. It reads 0.5~19,999 RPM and 0.05~1999.9 m/min at ±(0.05%+1), totals length from 0.05 to 99999 m, and samples every 0.5s above 120 RPM. It stores 96 data sets automatically, so a technician can log a round of readings and review them later. Power comes from 4×AA batteries or an external supply.

Applications

Shaft speed on motors and gearboxes, line speed of conveyor belts, assembly lines and transmission rollers, and measuring the length of material passing a roller. The 96-set memory suits routine inspection rounds.

Choosing within the series

In the DT-62 series, the DT-6234B is LED photoelectric, the DT-6234C is laser with 50~500mm range, the DT-6235B is contact only with surface speed and length, and the DT-6236B and DT-6236C combine contact with photoelectric or laser measurement. DT-6235B, DT-6236B and DT-6236C store 96 data sets; DT-6234B/C keep Max/Min/Last. Every DT-62 model accepts an external power supply as well as 4×AA batteries. The DT-22 series is the battery-only equivalent.
