DT-2236C Overview

DT-2236C Laser Tachometer and contact rpm digital tachometer is mainly used for touchless speed testing of rotors such as various engines, motors, speed control devices and wire speed tests of various conveyor belts. It is used in the speed debugging of various devices such as aircraft, ships, EMUs, automobiles, model aircraft, toys, etc.; and the surface speed debugging of assembly lines and transmission dials.

The DT-2236C combines a laser non-contact tachometer and a contact tachometer in one body. The laser end reads RPM from a reflective mark at 50~500mm, or fit the contact tip or wheel to read shaft speed and surface speed up to 1999.9 m/min. Accuracy is ±(0.05%+1) in all modes, so one tool covers most RPM jobs a maintenance technician meets.

Choosing within the series

In the DT-22 series, the DT-2234B is LED photoelectric (50~250mm), the DT-2234C is laser (50~500mm), the DT-2235B+ is contact only with surface speed and length, and the DT-2236C combines contact and laser. All DT-22 models run on 4×AA batteries only. The DT-62 series (DT-6234B/C, DT-6235B, DT-6236B/C) adds an external power supply option, and its contact models store 96 data sets.
