DT-6234C Laser Tachometer, Non-Contact RPM

The DT-6234C is a non-contact laser tachometer. The laser spot makes it easy to aim at small or distant reflective marks, with a detecting distance of 50~500mm. It reads 2.5~99,999 RPM at ±(0.05%+1), includes a cumulative count function (1~99999), and runs on 4×AA batteries or an external DC 6V supply. Body size is 160×72×37mm.

Applications

Speed checks on motors, engines, fans, pumps and speed control devices, and RPM set-up during maintenance of vehicles, ships, aircraft, model aircraft and production machinery. The laser range helps on guarded or high-mounted equipment.

Choosing within the series

In the DT-62 series, the DT-6234B is LED photoelectric, the DT-6234C is laser with 50~500mm range, the DT-6235B is contact only with surface speed and length, and the DT-6236B and DT-6236C combine contact with photoelectric or laser measurement. DT-6235B, DT-6236B and DT-6236C store 96 data sets; DT-6234B/C keep Max/Min/Last. Every DT-62 model accepts an external power supply as well as 4×AA batteries. The DT-22 series is the battery-only equivalent.
