VC890D Overview
The VC890D is a 2000-count manual-range True RMS multimeter from the VC890 series, aimed at electricians and maintenance staff who want a simple dial meter that still reads 1000V DC and 20A. It covers capacitance to 200μF and frequency on a 2kHz range, and the circuit is designed against high-voltage sparking.

Choosing within the series
The VC890 series has two models with the same 2000-count manual-range layout, True RMS and DCV range. The VC890D is the simpler one. The VC890C adds temperature (-40℃~1000℃), extends DC and AC current down to a 20μA range, resistance up to 200MΩ, capacitance down to a 2nF range, and frequency up to 200kHz. Choose the VC890D when temperature and low-current ranges are not needed.
