VC833A Overview

VC833A multimeter, available to DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, AC current, Resistance, Non-contact voltage detecting, hFE, Diode and continuity alarm tests; Designed with unit symbol, backlight, data hold, torch lighting, auto power off and alarm functions; 2000 counts display.

The VC833A is a compact manual-range multimeter in the VC800 series for electricians and home and appliance repair. It reads up to 2000 counts, measures DC voltage to 600V at ±(0.5%+4), and adds True RMS, NCV detection and a torch for working inside dark cabinets and wall boxes. It runs on two AAA cells.

Choosing within the series

Within the VC800 series the VC833A sits beside the VC834. Both are 2000-count manual-range meters with the same DCV, ACV, DCA and resistance ranges. The VC833A has the torch and the hFE test; the VC834 drops both and adds temperature (-40℃~1000℃) and Max/Min data hold. If you want auto ranging, the VC835B, VC836 and VC837 cover that, with capacitance and frequency added.
