AC II Overview
AC II voltage detector, adopts the fully insulated design of the shell, to detect whether there exists AC voltage when the tester is close to the measured conductor, so as to prevent the high voltage from endangering the personal safety of the operator; designed with audible and visual alarm in the presence of high pressure, also the torch lighting function is convenient in dark environments.
The AC II is a non-contact voltage detector pen with a fully insulated housing. Hold the tip close to a conductor and it signals whether AC voltage is present, so the operator can check for live wires without touching bare metal. Its detection range is AC 90V to 1000V.

Choosing within the series
The AC II is the simplest of the three non-contact pens. It has one fixed range starting at 90V. The AC-3 and AC-4 both switch between AC 48~1000V and a high-sensitivity AC 12~1000V setting, and add auto power off after about 5 minutes and a low battery warning; the AC-4 also has an LCD with an analog bar. The catalog rates the AC II at CAT. IV 1000V and the AC-3 and AC-4 at CAT.III 1000V. The AC-1 is a neon screwdriver tester without a flashlight.
