Portable easy-to-use voltage tester
volt detector & screwdriver 2-in-1 tool
The AC-1 is a 2-in-1 hand tool that combines a screwdriver with a neon voltage detector. It is meant for quick live wire checks during everyday electrical work: bright lamp beads in several colors light up when a live wire is detected, so the result is easy to see. It is an economical tester for electricians' tool kits and for distributors who stock basic hand tools.
Key features
- Neon light voltage detector built into a screwdriver
- Live wire detection
- Bright lamp beads with multi-color indication
- Compact and portable, easy to carry and use
Applications
Identifying the live wire at sockets, switches and terminals and then using the same tool to tighten or loosen screws; a low-cost tester for household, electrician and retail tool ranges.
Choosing within the series
The AC-1 is the basic option among Vici voltage testers. The AC II, AC-3 and AC-4 are non-contact pens with a sound and light alarm and a white LED flashlight, and they have published detection ranges: AC 90~1000V for the AC II, and switchable AC 48~1000V or 12~1000V for the AC-3 and AC-4. The AC-1 has no listed buzzer, flashlight or sensitivity setting; it relies on its neon indicator and adds a screwdriver blade.
