VC8045 Overview
The VC8045 is a mains-powered bench multimeter for labs, QC stations and repair benches where a meter stays on the desk all day. It shows up to 19999 counts and measures DC voltage to 1000V with a basic accuracy of ±(0.05%+1). AC voltage and current are measured as True RMS, and the AC+DC mode reads the RMS value of a signal that carries both components.

Choosing within the series
The VC8045 is the only bench model in the Vici catalog. Against the handheld 4½-digit VC9807A+ from the VC98 series, it adds True RMS, AC+DC measurement, a 40Hz-50kHz AC frequency response (the VC9807A+ is rated 40Hz~400Hz), finer DCV accuracy of ±(0.05%+1) and mains power instead of a 9V battery. Choose the VC9807A+ when the meter has to travel; choose the VC8045 for fixed bench work.
